Break Down Of Admission Process & Policies

Candidates are required to fully acquaint themselves with and abide by the admission criteria and procedures. No appeal shall be entertained against it. A prospective candidate gains admission only if they meet the eligibility criteria of the school.

1. Admission Confirmation

A student’s admission will only be confirmed after they have submitted all required documents, signed the
admission form and undertakings, paid their fee, and received an admission confirmation letter from the
admission office.

2. Merit-Based Admission

Merit is the sole criterion for admission, based on the candidate’s educational achievements and test scores. Each applicant is assessed fairly, ensuring that only students who meet the academic standards and demonstrate the potential to thrive in our learning environment are admitted. The school does not entertain requests for admission based on personal references, influence, or financial contributions. Our commitment to merit-based admissions ensures that every student is selected purely on their ability and readiness to succeed at PBS.

3. Admission Offer & Fee Payment

Upon meeting the entrance requirements, the student receives an admission offer and must complete all necessary formalities. The student is then issued a fee bill payable in Pak Rupees, USD, and GBP. Once the fee is paid, an acceptance letter is provided.

4. Withdrawal Policy

Students that leave any time after 31st January shall pay the full fee till July in order to get a school leaving certificate.

5. Reapplication Restrictions

Students terminated due to poor academic performance or disciplinary reasons cannot reapply to PBS. Special admissions will require the Principal’s approval.

6. Admission Policy

There are no special quotas or reserved seats, and admission by donations is not permitted. Mid-session admissions may be granted based on availability.

7. Admission Cancellation Policy

If a student decides to cancel their admission before completing their qualification, they are liable to pay tuition fees and any outstanding dues as per PBS policy.

8. Fee Policy

Tuition fees are variable and must be paid in Pak Rupees. At the time of admission, a one-time non-refundable registration and admission fee, along with a refundable security fee, must be paid. An annual resource charge is mandatory and must be paid in full, regardless of the student’s joining date. Additional charges for lab, library, and extracurricular activities are applied annually. Advance tax is applicable as per Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) policy. Late fee fines of Rs. 1000 per week apply after the due date for a certain period, after which re-registration fees will be charged. Failure to pay tuition on time may result in the student being removed from the PBS register.

9. Fee Billing Period

Monthly/ Quarterly/Yearly fees will be charged.

10. Fee Refund Policy

Students admitted to Pathways British School can request a refund after confirming their admission; however, only the security fee is refundable. Non-payment of fees results in the suspension of enrollment, restriction from exams, and withholding of student records. Additionally, late fee penalties will apply as per the school’s policy.

11. Student Code of Conduct

Pathways British School expects students to adhere to school policies and uphold a code of conduct that promotes mutual respect and discipline. Misconduct includes any behavior that disrupts school functions, damages the school’s reputation, or involves criminal activities such as assault, theft, or fraud. Additionally, acts of plagiarism, disorderly conduct, threats, abuse, intimidation, or offensive behavior are strictly prohibited. Students are expected to maintain academic integrity, respect diversity and equality, and cooperate with PBS staff. Failure to comply with these expectations may result in disciplinary action.
